Beavers football adds 11
Oregon State announced a group of 11 football players signed letters of intent Wednesday, Dec. 16, to join the Beavers in 2021. Wednesday was the first day of the early-signing period for Class of 2021 football players.
The Beavers' class includes touted Jefferson High running back Damir Collins. Collins is one of three players from Oregon and one from Camas, Washington, announced Wednesday.
OSU coach Jonathan Smith said of Collins: "We are anxious to see how many ways we can use him" in the offense and on special teams.
Smith said the small class in terms of numbers was expected, given that the Beavers have a small senior class. He said OSU has a little bit of room to add to the class in the second signing window.
