Portland opens 24-game U.S. Division-only schedule on March 18; no fans at WHL games.

logoThe Portland Winterhawks are scheduled to begin their abbreviated 2020-21 Western Hockey League season on March 18 at Tri-City.

The five U.S. Division teams will play only divisional opponents. All games will be held in the state of Washington, until restrictions in Portland allow the Winterhawks to play home games at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Winterhawks' home games during March are scheduled to take place at Accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington.

No fans will be allowed at WHL games until further notice. A new streaming platform, WHL Live on CHL TV, will be available.

Winterhawks players are scheduled to arrive in Portland at the end of this week, then quarantine for five days before beginning to practice.

WINTERHAWKS 2020-21 SCHEDULE

NOTE: Until Oregon/Multnomah County protocols allow games at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Winterhawks home games will be played at Accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington.

At this time, no fans will be allowed at games.
