Sunday, April 18: Everett scores three in third period, beats Portland for fourth time this season.

The Everett Silvertips continue to have the number of the Portland Winterhawks.

Ethan Regnier scored three goals as the Silvertips improved to 4-0 against the Winterhawks this season.

The game was scoreless until the middle of the second period. Regnier and Jalen Price scored 32 seconds apart for Everett, then Seth Jarvis tallied for Portland 88 seconds later.

Reginer's second goal at 16:23 od the second made it 3-1 Everett, but Ryan McCleary scored for Portland with 24 seconds left to make it a one-goal game headed to the third period.

Hunter Campbell scored 2:13 into the third and Ryan Hofer at 8:07k to put the Silvertips up 5-2. Reginer completed his hat trick with Everett on a power play with 4:23 left in the game.

The win is the eighth in. row for Everett against Portland dating to the 2019-20 season.

The Winterhawks outshot the Silvertips 39-34 but were 0 for 4 on the power play as Dustin Wolfe made 37 saves.

Brock Gould made 28 saves for Portland.

Next for the Winterhawks is a Saturday, April 24 home game against Seattle.
