Blazers, Winterhawks will only admit fans who are vaccinated or have proof of negative COVID test, except kids.

COURTESY PHOTO: PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS - Until further notice, fans attending events at Rose Quarter venues, including the building now known as Moda Center, must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and wear face coverings.Fans ages 12 and older attending events at Moda Center and at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, will be required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 until further notice.

All fans are attending Rose Quarter events are required to wear a mask unless actively eating or drinking. Fans 11 and younger will be admitted without proof of vaccination.

The policy will apply for the Portland Winterhawks preseason camp scrimmages, which take place Sept. 2-5 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The first event impacted will be the Megadeth concert on Sept. 4 at Moda Center.

The policy will apply to all Trail Blazers' home games until further notice, beginning with the first preseason game on Oct. 4.

To be admitted, ticket holders must have a CDC or Canadian Vaccination Card, a photo of their vaccination card on a mobile device or a photocopy of their vaccination card.

Fully vaccinated means at least two weeks have passed since receiving the second dose of a two-dose series, or since receiving the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Those without proof of vaccination — including those exempt from the vaccination for religious or medical reasons — can gain admission only with documentation showing a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the start of the event.

To limit contact and wait times, bags will not be allowed inside Rose Quarter venues until further notice. Clutches, children's bags and bags needed for medical reasons will be allowed.

There will no longer be any cash transactions at Rose Quarter events. There will be kiosks around the campus where cash can be converted into a prepaid debit card for no fee.

Until further notice, there will be no smoking allowed on the Rose Quarter campus and no outdoor smoking areas.
