The Everett Silvertips needed only one goal Saturday, Oct. 23, to continue their dominance of the Portland Winterhawks.

Jonny Lambos scored on a shot through traffic from the right point and goalie Braden Holt blanked the Winterhawks for the second time this season as the Silvertips improved to 6-0-0-0.

Everett took two games from Portland in as many nights at Veterans Memorial Coliseum as the Winterhawks fell to 3-4-0-1.

Both teams were 0 for 2 on the power play.

Winterhawks goalie Lochlan Gordan played a solid game with 25 saves, but Portland continues to struggle for scoring early in the season.

Next for the Winterhawks is a Wednesday, Oct. 27, home game against Seattle.
