Track athletes in PIL and elsewhere start to improve their marks; Wilson girls, Jesuit boys off to strong starts in lacrosse

A school with great tradition in track and field — especially in the sprints — again has some leaders of the pac.

Sophomore Jelisa Turner ranks first in the PIL for girls at 100 and 200 meters (13.18, 27.59 seconds).

Micah Williams is No. 1 in the boys 200 (22.61), and senior Jacoby Kelley ranks second in the 100 (11.64). Gabriel Reitzes, a junior, ran the fastest 400 time in the PIL this year, 53.24, in Saturday's Aloha Preview.
