Korey Landolt named new Clackamas girls' hoop coach
Former assistant Korey Landolt has been named the new girls' basketball head coach at Clackamas High School, replacing Todd Lane.
Landolt, a 1999 graduate of Clackamas, spent three seasons as an assistant to Lane, who stepped down after leading the Cavaliers (23-5) to a Mt. Hood Conference championship and being named the league's Coach of the Year.
The Cavaliers have nine players off last season's varsity roster eligible to return, including first-team, all-league selections Kalani Hayes, Alyson Miura, and Bri Phiakhamngon, and second-team pick Ciara James.
Landolt, a physical education and health teacher at Clackamas, played two seasons at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, followed by two seasons at Portland's Concordia University. She graduated from Concordia in 2004 and earned a master's degree from Portland State in 2011.
