Madi Mott scattered six hits and struck out 10 to lead the Gladiators past the No. 2-ranked Braves and into the semifinals

Gladstone's Madi Mott struck out the side in order in the seventh inning, putting the final touch on a six-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts as the visiting Gladiators overwhelmed No. 2-ranked Banks 3-0 in Friday's OSAA Class 4A softball quarterfinals.

Emily Clinkscales had two hits and drove in two runs to key an eight-hit attack that helped carry the Gladiators (22-6) into Tuesday's semifinals against Tri-Valley Conference-rival Crook County, a 6-3 quarterfinal winner over No. 3-ranked McLoughlin.
