Portland police said a 16-year-old boy was shot late Friday night during a melee inside Portland’s Q Center on North Mississippi Avenue.

The young man was treated at a local hospital for what police said was a non-life-threatening wound early Saturday morning. His name and medical condition have not been released.

North Precinct officers were called at about 11:52 p.m. Aug. 7, to the Q Center, where they were told a fight had broken out during a social event. Gunshots were fired during the fight, but police were unable to find any victims. The young man then showed up at a hospital with the injury.
