In the past 10 or 20 years, technology has made an amazing impact in the way we do business. We can now sign papers with a mouse, and email instead of seeing people.  We may text our clients and other agents many times during a transaction. 

Buying or selling real estate can be fast and efficient, but it’s genuinely different. People aren’t computers, and even with technology, the simplest transaction isn’t really simple.  Nonverbal communication still has a vital role in building trust, communicating details, and “seeing eye to eye”. 

 Whether you’re selling your longtime family home, buying a first-time home or investment property, hire a good agent who’s BOTH tech-savvy and human-sensitive. 

 There are so many ways a transaction can go sideways that I make it a centerpiece of my practice to be available and meet personally as much as needed with clients.  It’s wonderful to use technology to your benefit, and the key word is “benefit.”  If it benefits you, we’ll use it.  If it only speeds things up without really helping you reach your goals in good shape, then you can count on me taking the time to meet face-to-face.
