CARTRIDGE-NETWORK - Griffin HampsonHP raised pricing on more than 300 inkjet & laser toner cartridges by 5% to 10%+, on 12/1/16. Increased pricing was immediately implemented by the Office Depots of the world. This followed similar price increases on inkjet cartridges on 10/1/15 and many inkjet & laser cartridges on 10/1/14.

Besides the obvious desire of HP to increase revenue and margin on its installed printer base, some speculate it is also an effort to "force" consumers and businesses to "upgrade" to newer generation printers. Doing so rarely reduces the cost of printing. New printers perpetuate users to fall into the trap of using 'low yield" or "standard" replacement cartridges after the "set up" or "introductory" cartridges quickly empty instead of replacing them with the better value 'high yield' cartridges. The same marketing slight of hand applies to the Valu Pack Pricing.

Another unfortunate consequence of price increases is the practice of the Office Depots of the world, which now markup cartridge pricing in-store by several additional dollars over their listed web pricing. Most customers do not "catch" the mark up. Some go "armed" with listed pricing. Cartridge Network pricing for OEM (name brand) cartridges is slightly less and our factory remanufactured routinely save 30% to 50%+.

As a full-service independent, non-franchise operation, Cartridge Network sells and services printers and copiers. "We stock several dozen different printer models (inkjet and laser) and copiers too. We focus on a buyer's needs and then explore alternatives to best meet their needs."

We stock several thousand different cartridges. Shipping is free.
