2 shootings, 1 injury investigated over weekend
The Portland Police Bureau responded to shootings on Friday and Saturday, with each appearing to be unrelated to the other. Here's what we know so far:
Shooting reported in St. Johns
North Precinct officers hurried to the intersection of North Smith and Weyerhaeuser streets around 1:05 p.m. on Saturday, July 14.
Police say a 9-1-1 caller reported hearing multiple gunshots. Officers responded and later located evidence of gunfire nearby.
Police say no one was injured and no property damage was discovered during the investigation.

Shooting leaves juvenile injured
East Precinct officers responded to a local hospital after learning that a juvenile with a gunshot wound had been dropped off at the medical center by a private vehicle.
The male victim arrived at the hospital just before midnight on Friday, July 13.
Police say he was transported to a different "trauma hospital" by ambulance for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
"Investigators have not determined the location where the shooting occurred that injured the victim," a police spokeswoman wrote. "No suspect description available at this time."
