Portland Police Bureau arrests Donald Beasley, Jason Blythe after receiving reports of 'drug activity.'

East Precinct officers say they learned of suspected "drug activity" in the Brentwood-Darlington burg on Portland's southern edge, leading to two traffic stops, and later, the search of a nearby home.

Here's what officers claim to have found in the residence:

• 2.4 pounds of methamphetamine

• 0.75 pounds of heroin

• 125 Xanax pills

• Almost $7,000 in real U.S. currency

• About $1,400 in counterfeit U.S. currency

Donald Lee Beasley, 47, has been arrested on charges of delivery and possession of meth and heroin. Beasley has six felony and seventeen misdemeanor convictions on his record.

Jason Michael Blythe, 42, faces charges for delivery of heroin and delivery of meth, as well as being a felon in possession of a gun and violating parole. Blythe has been convicted of 22 felonies and 17 misdemeanors, according to jail records.

Both men remain incarcerated at this time.
