Bullets strike child's bed in Stark Street shooting
Portland Police continue to investigate a Friday night shooting that sent bullets into a child's bedroom.
The Gun Violence Reduction Team says the suspect or suspects were targeting a vehicle in the Hazelwood neighborhood, but several of the bullets struck an occupied apartment building behind it.
"No children were in the room at the time and thankfully, no one was injured," authorities report.
The shooting occured on Nov. 8 around 8:15 p.m. in the 12600 block of Southeast Stark Street.
