Joe Biden looks for cash at private Portland fundraiser
Former vice president and current Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden arrived in Portland this Saturday.
The presidential hopeful was in town for an invitation-only fundraising event before jetting off to his next stop on the campaign trail later the same day. Carol Butler and Win McCormack, the city's top Democratic donors, hosted the exclusive event.
Congressman Kurt Schrader was in attendance and said he's backing Biden for the Democratic nomination. A reporter for KGW spotted Beaverton Mayor Denny Doyle and Jordan Schnitzer walking up to the swanky residence.

The Portland stop is part of a 4-day West Coast swing for the former Vice President.
His stop in Portland will likely be relatively brief since he will also be in Las Vegas later the same day.
In the days before his stop in Portland, Biden also visited Los Angeles and Seattle.
After his Portland/Las Vegas stops, Biden will head to Elko, Nevada before heading back to Vegas.
Biden is one of the top-polling Democratic presidential candidates and the fifth one to appear in Portland this year after Andrew Yang, Pete Buttigieg, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and Senator Cory Booker.
