“Seven strategies: Coping with the recent death of a loved one” is a free one-hour presentation designed specifically for the recently bereaved.

Providence Hospice staffers are offering suggestions on how to cope during the weeks and months following the death of a loved one. The presentation will include information on additional resources available in the community.

Providence spokeswoman Renee King said the Providence Hospice Community Care seminars, facilitated by trained hospice staff, hope to offer simple and effective tools that help people turn their compassion into action.

“Those supporting someone who has experienced a loss can benefit from the information provided in this seminar,” King said.
