Financed by the city, the refurbished Portland Vintage Trolley seats up to 40 passengers and will run on the rail line through Elk Rock Tunnel, up to Long Trestle in Riverdale, for about two miles. Future plans call for extending the ODOT-approved line once construction on the Sellwood Bridge is completed in late 2016.

Maintained and run by volunteers from the Oregon Electric Railway Historical Society, excursions on the trolley are $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for children younger than 3.
