The parking garage at the center, 10470 S.W. Barnes Road, will remain open. Shuttle buses will connect to the Washington Park station to the east and the Beaverton Town Center station to the west.

Trains will continue to travel past the station platform during the closure, but passengers will not be allowed to board or disembark there.

TriMet advises riders using the shuttle service to plan for an additional 15 to 30 minutes of travel.

Regular bus service to and from the center will continue during the project.

The nearly two week closure is necessary for workers to remove the pavers and tiles that cover the platform. Moisture has eroded the grout holding them in place. They will be replaced with solid concrete.

Additional work will continue after the platform reopens through Oct. 1.

The cost of the project is $1.7 million.
