No one is immediately arrrested in robberies that took place within an hour of each other.

KOIN 6 NEWS - Porttland police vehicles.Police responded to two armed robberies in Southeast Portland within an hour of each other on Saturday.

No one was injured or immediately arrested.

According to police, the first robbery was reported at 8:40 p.m. on Feb. 3 at the Cinco De Mayo Bakery, located at 1134 Southeast 82nd Avenue.

When East Precinct officers arrived at the bakery, they learned a suspect entered the location and demanded money while brandishing a gun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the location without incident.

Responding officers searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspects' description. Based on preliminary information, officers believe the suspect is a Hispanic male, 23 to 25-years-old, five feet five inches tall, 160 pounds and armed with a handgun.

The second robbery was reported at 9:31 p.m. at the GS Market, located at 12217 Southeast Foster Road.

When East Precinct officers arrived at the market, they learned a suspect entered the location and demanded money while brandishing a gun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect left the location without incident.

Responding officers searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspects' description. Preliminary information suggests the suspect is a black male, in his 20's, five feet ten inches tall, with a medium to stocky build, and armed with a handgun.

Investigators Detective Division's Robbery Detail are continuing both investigations. Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact detectives at 503-823-0405.
