One injured in rural Clackamas County shooting
A man was taken to the hospital after he was injured during a shooting Sunday in Clackamas County.
The name and condition of the victim was not immediately released.
Clackamas County dispatch confirmed to KOIN 6 News that deputies and Clackamas Fire responded to a report of a shooting at 21391 S. Upper Highland Rd. shortly before noon.
Sgt. Brian Jensen said the incident started as a fight between two acquaintances, both males, inside a home. One of the men then shot the other during a struggle, according to Jensen.
The injured man was transported to OHSU via Life Flight with a gunshot wound. His condition is unknown. The other man was taken to a local hospital to get checked out for exhaustion.
