Repaving work closes Willamette Greenway Trail section
A section of Portland's Willamette Greenway Trail will be closed for improvements next week.
Portland Parks & Recreation said Thursday, May 31, that a portion of the trail from Cottonwood Bay, north and south of Southwest Hamilton Court, would be closed so city crews can repair bumps and uneven pavement caused by tree roots.
The trail closes Tuesday, June 5, to Friday, June 8. Work is scheduled each day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Willamette Greenway Trail is about six miles of paved pathway from Willamette Park in the Johns Landing area to just south of downtown Portland.
