WCSO PHOTO - A photo of the alleged crime scene released by the Washington County Sheriff's Office. A teenage boy was fatally shot at a party in the Rock Creek area early Sunday.

The victim is identified as Fermin Alonso-Alonso, 18, of North Plains.

According to the WCSO, at 12:47 a.m. on Sept. 30, deputies responded to reports of gunfire at a residence in the 17700 block of Northwest Connett Meadow Court in the Rock Creek community. Initial reports were that someone had been shot during an altercation at a large party at the location.

When deputies arrived, rendered medical aid to an 18-year-old male suffering from life-threatening injuries. Investigators learned the suspect fled the scene in the moments after the shooting. Multiple deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The victim was transported to a local trauma hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Detectives with the inter-agency Washington County Major Crimes Team are leading the investigation. Personnel with the Oregon State Police Forensic Services Division are assisting.

Detectives would like to speak with anyone who attended the party or has information regarding the incident. Individuals with information are asked to call the sheriff's office at (503) 846-2700.

Beaverton Police, Hillsboro Police, Oregon State Police, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, and Metro West Ambulance assisted during the incident.
