Early morning shooting wounds man in SE Portland
Portland police said one man was seriously injured early Tuesday morning in a shooting near Southeast 58th Avenue and Hawthorne Boulevard.
The man was being treated at a local hospital for what police said were serious injuries. His name has not been released.
The shooting happened at about 3 a.m., Dec. 4, when East Precinct officers were called to the area after several reports of gunfire. Officers found the wounded man and provided medical aid until he was taken to a hospital.
The city's Gun Violence Response Team is investigating the shooting.
