Beaverton driver who caused Aloha-area crash was found by Hillsboro K9 and officer.

COURTESY WCSO - A photograh from the five-car crash.A Beaverton man who caused a five-car crash was arrested after fleeing the scene in Aloha late Saturday.

According to Washington County, Hillsboro K-9 Blazer and his handler, Officer Matthew Schmidt, found the suspect hiding in vegetation a short distance from the crash.

Wesley Howard Scott, 51, is charged with felony hit-and-run, two counts of criminal mischief, reckless endangering, DUII for alcohol and drugs, assault, and reckless driving.

One of the victims was hospitalized.That person's name and condition was not immediately released.

WCSO says the crash happened at 10:40 p.m. on Dec. 22 at Southwest 170th and Farmington Road. Witnesses told responding deputies the driver was driving recklessly, intentionally hit another car, and ran away.

Scott refused to provide a breath sample. His blood-alcohol level will not be available until toxicological testing is completed in the future by the Oregon State Police Forensic Laboratory.
