Police seek info on suspect in 'numerous' bank robberies
Authorities are seeking more information about a suspect linked to "numerous" bank robberies across the Portland metro region.
The suspect, captured on surveillance footage, is described as a 50 to 60 year old white man, approximately five-foot, eight-inches tall with a medium build, gray hair and wearing prescription eyeglasses.
Security cameras captured images of the suspect during a robbery of Columbia Bank, 4805 S.W. 77th Ave. in the Raleigh Hills community in Washington County, around 9:13 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, according to a news release.
In that instance, he allegedly approached the bank counter with a demand note, then fled with cash.
Beaverton Police searched the surrounding area, but found nothing. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is also wanted by the Portland Police, the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the local branch of the FBI.
