Portland police announce no arrests after shooting in nearby apartment near Southeast 127th.

Portland police scrambled to respond after receiving reports that a man had been shot in the leg.

East Precinct officers responded to the 400 block of Southeast 127th Avenue around 3:03 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25.

The adult man's wounds were determined to be non-life-threatening. Police found evidence of gunfire but apparently did not make any arrests.

Authorities explained: "Officers determined the shooting likely happened in a nearby apartment and there is no indication of continued danger to the community related to this incident."
