Cody Denney was on life support after the attack, and no suspects have been found.

CONTRIBUTED - Pictures of Cody Denney.A man who was found badly beaten in Southeast Portland in late January has died after spending weeks in the hospital.

Cody Denney, 25, was found at Southeast 92nd and Knapp on Jan. 25 . Police did not even know who he was. He was identified by his distinct tattoos.

Police have not released any suspect information.

Family friend Nicole Riggs told KOIN 6 News that Denney had been with a friend the night before, and started walking home around 1 a.m. But what happened to him after that is a mystery.

Denney was on life support after being found. Last Tuesday, family friends said he was moved to hospice care.

Riggs wrote on Facebook that Denney died on Friday.
