Man critically stabbed in Southeast Portland
A man was stabbed and hospitalized with life-threatening injuries in Southeast Portland on Saturday afternoon.
The name of the victim was not immediately released. No suspect information was immediately released, either.
Police believe the victim and suspect know each other and are not associated with the location of the stabbing.
According to police, at approximately 6:45 p.m., on March 16 East Precinct officers responded to the report of a person stabbed in the area of the 6400 block of Southeast 129th Place.
When officers arrived in the area, they located an injured adult male victim. He was transported to a Portland hospital by ambulance for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Police say there is no identified risk to the community related to this incident.
