Hit-and-run injures pedestrian on Northeast 122nd Avenue
Portland police are on the look-out for a truck driver suspected of fleeing the scene after striking a female pedestrian.
East Precinct officers responded to Northeast 122nd Avenue at Multnomah Street around 8:21 p.m. on Friday, March 29 after receiving reports of a hit-and-run, according to a news release.
The adult woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of "non-life-threatening" injuries, officers say.
The authorities are now hunting for the driver of the white pick-up, which is believed to have front-end damage and was last seen driving north on 122nd.
Officers closed down 122nd from Halsey to Multnomah streets while investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call (503) 823-3333.
