The center is within $5.3 million of its fundraising target of $46 million; groundbreaking is anticipated in the fall.Washington County Visitors Association has granted $500,000 toward construction of the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton.

The center is within $5.3 million of its $46 million fundraising target.

"Tualatin Valley's growing arts and culture scene will be enhanced with the addition of the performing arts venue, thus elevating Tualatin Valley's reputation as a vibrant arts destination," said Dan Murphy, chair of the Washington County Visitors Association's board of directors and co-founder of the Broadway Rose Theatre Company in Tigard.
