Murphy's Market shooting suspect sought
Portland Police are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect in a shooting in March of this year.
The gunfire was first reported to authorities around 9:53 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 outside the Murphy's Market convenience store, 14902 S.E. Powell Boulevard.
No injuries were reported after the shooting, but police found evidence of gunfire near 148th Avenue and Powell. Police say surveillance cameras captured images of a vehicle linked to the incident, the suspect in the shooting and the suspect's friend.
"The suspect is described as a male, possibly Hispanic, in his late teens or early 20s, wearing a white baseball hat backwards and a black t-shirt," according to a news release.
The suspect's friend is believed to be a male of similar age and race, wearing thin, gold-rimmed glasses, a gray sweatshirt and dark jeans. The hair on the top of his head is dyed pink, police say.
An unknown woman was seen driving the white Chevrolet Malibu that left the scene.
