A woman is dead after Portland police say she was struck by a commercial delivery truck on Friday, April 19.
Investigators determined the truck was traveling on Northeast Grand Avenue and turning onto westbound Broadway when it collided with a female pedestrian in her 50s.
"The driver of the truck remained at the scene and was cooperative," according to a news release. "Speed and alcohol do not appear to have been a factor in this collision."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Dave Enz at 503-823-2208.
Police say this was the 25th major crash — and 17th fatality — on Portland streets in 2019.
