Portland Police Bureau says its unclear how or why the driver accessed the overpass.

PPB PHOTO - A camper living attachment was left abandoned on an Interstate 205 overpass reserved for walkers and cyclists in Portland overnight on Sunday, April 28.Portland Police are investigating a car camper that was apparently abandoned on a pedestrian bridge overnight.

East Precinct officers responded Sunday, April 28 to the Southeast Steele Street pedestrian bridge, which crosses Interstate 205 between 92nd and 96th avenues.

"Shaking our heads over this one," police wrote.

The Oregon Department of Transportation has removed the camper from the overpass.
