Bandit armed with a handgun demanded cash and then fled from 82nd Avenue shop in Portland.

COURTESY PPB - An armed suspect robbed the Saigon Market on 82nd Avenue in late April. Portland Police are hoping the public can shed some light on the identity of a suspect wanted for armed robbery.

Authorities say the Saigon Market convenience store, 1111 N.E. 82nd Ave., was robbed around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27.

The suspect entered the store with a handgun, then fled after demanding and receiving cash from the store clerk. He was last seen walking westbound on Northeast Multnomah Street.

The suspect is believed to be a black man, about 30 to 40 years old, standing five-foot-ten or six feet, with a thin mustache, wearing black clothing and light-colored shoes.
