"The passenger of the vehicle exited the vehicle and went into a nearby store," officers said. "He was identified as a subject with an outstanding warrant and he was arrested."

Coleman was lodged in the downtown jail on charges of unlawful possession of a loaded firearm in public, unlawful concealment of a firearm and on Clackamas County warrant for failing to appear in a case of alleged DUII.

Coleman was convicted of reckless endangerment in 2018, according to court records. In that incident, Coleman told Detective Jeff Pontius that he was "drinking massive amounts of alcohol" and fired a bullet out of the passenger window of Pontiac Grand-Am because he was depressed, according to an affidavit.

Coleman told jailers he works full-time at a warehouse. He was released on bail on Sunday.
