Robbery detectives on scene after man shot in St. Johns
Portland Police are investigating a report of a shooting inside an apartment in the St. Johns neighborhood.
North Precinct officers responded to the 8600 block of North Swift Way around 3:39 a.m. on Monday, July 29, according to a news release.
Police say they found a male victim with non-life-threatening injuries when they arrived. The wounded man was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
Robbery detectives are also on scene, due to "the circumstances of the call," authorities say.
No arrests have been made at this time, and police say it is "too early" to link this incident with any other crimes.
