TriMet celebrates 50th year with 'golden anniversary'
Portland's TriMet is kicking off their golden anniversary with a party at Pioneer Courthouse Square on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
The event is celebrating the regional transit agency's 50th year. The party will have birthday cake, cupcakes, live music and TriMet gear.
There will be four buses around the Square that each represent a different era in TriMet's history.
The party begins at 11 a.m. and goes until 2 p.m.
