Man stabbed in downtown Portland
A man was stabbed in the stomach in downtown Portland early Saturday night
The name of the victim was not immediately rleased. No suspect information was immediately available.
According to police, Central Precinct officers receive the report of a stabbing at 7:17 p.m. on Sept. 28. When they arrived at Southwest 3rd Ave and West Burnside Street, they found a man with a stab wound in his abdomen. He was taken to the hospital. Police said his wounds were "non-life threatening."
The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived. Police said they have reason to believe the victim and the suspect know each other, but they did not immediately find the suspect.
