North Portland overpass closed by homeless camp fire reopens
Firefighters were called to a fire at a large homeless camp in North Portland on Friday morning.
Portland Fire & Rescue got the flames under control and said they don't believe there were any victims.
The camp is under the North Vancouver overpass between North Columbia and North Schmeer roads. The overpass was temprarily closed. It reopened after being inspected by the Portland Bureau of Transportation for structural damage.
