No arrests made by Portland Police Bureau after shooting reported in Old Town just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

KOIN 6 NEWS PHOTO - Portland Police investigated an Old Town shooting on Jan. 7. Portland Police Bureau is investigating after a man was wounded by gunfire in the Old Town area of the city's downtown.

Central Precinct officers arrived at Northwest Park Avenue at Flanders Street around 7:54 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7 after hearing reports of a shooting.

Police found a wounded man there, who was conscious and talking with officers. The victim was transported by ambulance to a hospital.

Authorities did not immediately release any suspect information or announce arrests.
