Justin Coleman, 29 and 26-year-old Shawna Cash arrested during investigation into non-injury shooting in 2019, police say.

The GVRT's tactical division says it was following up on an investigation when officers stopped a car near Northeast Fremont Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Thursday, Jan. 9.

VIA PPB - Police say two guns were seized during the traffic stop. Two people — Justin Tyrone Coleman, 29, and Shawna Ann Cash, 26 — were arrested on various gun charges.

Coleman faces charges of unlawful use of a wewapon and two counts of being a felon in possession of a gun.

Cash is charged with unlawful possession of a loaded gun.

Police say they seized a Ruger .380 LCP semi-auto handgun and a SCCY 9mm CPX-2 semi-automatic handgun as evidence during the traffic stop.

Police did not link either person to any particular shooting, but say the investigation contines and "more information will be released at a later date."

Coleman was ordered released from the local jail by a court judge, according to jail records, while Cash was let out on supervised release.
