Portland Police Bureau says the victim is recovering from the non-life-threatening gunshot wound in a hospital.

PPB PHOTOS - Gunshots rang out on Friday night in Portland's Montavilla neighborhood, police say. A shooting in Portland's Montavilla neighborhood sent a man to the hospital on Friday night, Portland Police Bureau officers say.

North Precinct police were dispatched to the 8700 block of Northeast Hassalo Street around 9:11 p.m. on Friday, March 20 — but when they arrived officers found no suspects or victims, just evidence of gunfire.

Two occupies homes and a car were struck by bullets, police say, but no one inside was injured. Later that night, an adult man with a gunshot wound in his arm arrived in a private car at a local hospital.

Officers say his wound is non-life-threatening. With no arrests made, the Gun Violence Reduction Team has been assigned the case and continues to investigate.
