Oregon City police seek witnesses to fight outside bar
Oregon City police seek additional witnesses to a 10 p.m. report of several people fighting in the parking lot on Saturday at Rodder's Grub and Pub, 19195 Molalla Ave.
"When we arrived, we learned a suspect had fired a gun from his vehicle, crashed into another vehicle in the parking lot and then fled the scene down Fir Street," said OCPD Capt. Shaun Davis. "Responding officers located the suspect at a nearby business on Fir Street, and he was taken into custody without incident."
The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Gresham resident Cole Robert Scott. A Clackamas County Sheriff's Office K-9 assisted OCPD locating the handgun.
During the initial physical disturbance, a man sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
"We did not locate anyone that was struck by gunfire," Davis said.
Scott was arrested on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, discharging a firearm within city limits, hit and run, and disorderly conduct.
Detectives are continuing their investigation and ask anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance to call the Oregon City tip line at 503-496-1616. Reference OCPD case #20-017337.
