A Sept. 1 car crash in Portland's Glenfair neighborhood left one person dead, police said.

PHOTO COURTESY: KOIN 6 NEWS  - A Sept. 1 crash left one person dead in Portland. One person is dead and another seriously injured after a car crash was reported in the Glenfair neighborhood of Portland.

East Precinct officers responded to the crash in the 400 block of Southeast 153rd Avenue around 5:10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, according to a news release.

Two people were found at the crash site — both with serious injuries — and police say a medical crew on scene determined that one of the injured had died.

The other person was taken by ambulance to a hospital.

"The patient's condition is unknown," police said.

Footage taken by the Tribune's media partner, KOIN 6 News, showed a red sedan that apparently crashed near a residence.
