A victim is seriously wounded at an auto body shop that doubles as a nightclub in North Portland.

According to police, at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, North Precinct officers responded to the 5200 block of Northeast Columbia Boulevard on reports of a shooting at an auto body shop that is used as a nightclub. A 911 caller, who was no longer at the location, said their vehicle had been shot while attending a gathering at the location.

Officers arrived on the scene and found evidence of gunfire, including shell casings. As the officers collected the evidence, a different victim, who also had been at the location, walked into a local hospital with a single gunshot wound to the leg. The victim's condition is serious.

As officers continued their investigation, they learned a shooting had occurred inside the auto body shop.

No other victims immediately came forward and a suspect has not yet been arrested.
