The Police Police Bureau has identified the man who was shot and killed on Jan. 12 in Northeast Portland as Miguel Angel Armenta-Hernandez.
The police and Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office had previously asked the public to help identify him, releasing a sketch of his face and tattoos.
According to the police, the investigation began at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 12 when North Precinct officers responded to a shots fired call in the 4800 block of Northeast 100th Avenue. When they arrived, officers found a person who was dead.
