Portland Police Bureau's arson unit is investigating the March 6 incident in the Argay Terrace neighborhood.

VIA PPB - Portland Police Bureau investigators believe an explosive device damaged a parked RV in Portland on March 6.Portland Police are asking the public for help after a "possible explosive device" detonated around 8:41 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, in the Argay Terrace neighborhood.

The bureau's Arson Unit was dispatched alongside Portland Fire & Rescue to the trailer parked in the 3800 block of Northeast 141st Drive. They arrived to find smoke billowing from the RV.

"Firefighters found smoke but no fire, and determined that no one had been injured," according to a news release.

Investigators say the evidence points toward some sort of explosion believed to be "suspicious" in nature. It's unclear if anyone was inside at the time the apparent bomb went off.
