Portland Police Bureau officers responded to the shooting on Monday night following multiple 911 calls.

VIA KOIN 6 NEWS - Police responded to a shooting in North Portland on April 19. The Portland Police Bureau is investigating a homicide in the Humboldt neighborhood.

Officers responded to North Webster Street near Albina Avenue following "multiple calls" regarding a shooting in the area around 9:26 p.m. on Monday, April 19.

Officers found a person who had died in a shooting on scene. Police say there is no suspect information yet, though the deadly incident is not believed to be connected to a nearby protest.

An autopsy is pending in the case, which remains under investigation. The incident is the 27th homicide to occur in Portland so far in 2021, according to police Lt. Greg Pashley.
