Sixty-year-old man dies after failing to navigate Southeast Louden Road curve

At 5:51 a.m. Multnomah County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a crash in the 49100 block of Southeast Louden Road. Upon arrival they discovered the driver had died in the accident.

Preliminary investigation suggests a high rate of speed contributed to the crash. The man's sedan was found off the roadway and down an embankment.

The man's identity is being withheld until next of kin is notified. Southeast Louden Road was closed for several hours during the investigation.
