Northbound I-5 lanes reopen in Terwilliger Curves
A stretch of northbound Interstate 5 in the Terwilliger Curves has reopened after being blocked through much of Wednesday after a crash involving a semi-truck.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, just before 4:30 a.m. June 9, a semi-truck trailer crashed onto its side and ended up on top of a car on I-5 northbound at Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard.
The crash did not result in any deaths, but the extent of the injuries of the people in the car was not immediately announced. They were extricated and sent to the hospital.
Northbound traffic is was diverted onto Highway 217 while the wreck was cleared.
